Aloha I have a
1997 Ford Ranger 2WD (4 Cylinders A 2.3L MFI SOHC 140 CID)
I am looking for a inexpensive battery as I continue to troubleshoot my truck. I don't want the $260 battery that O'Reilly tried to sell me, I don't even care about the warranty at this point.
I am getting a cheap one as I may have other issues that lead to a different approach or even abandoning my truck to a mechanic special.
Could anyone recommend and inexpensive alternative (Even Walmart ) I think i need 850 amps but when I look up the Group type I and seeing everything f=rom 59 -62.
Thanks for any suggestions...I am seeing what I think is adequate at Walmart or $89
